YA Rewind wrap-up #1

We are at the end of our first series of YA Rewind madness!! I hope you guys enjoyed this as much as we did. For our first wrap-up of this series we thought it would be a good idea to watch the Twilight movies and compare them to the books. Unsurprisingly, Syd and I had to be tipsy to get through new moon. I think the next time we watch it we will make a drinking game out of it, everytime Bella does something stupid for the express purpose of seeing Edward's hallucination we have to sip our wine. I think Syd's favorite part about these movies were the werewolves, because they really do just look like giant German Shepherds.

To wrap up our thoughts on the formatting of this series of episodes, Syd and I both enjoyed the experience. We were both excited to read about the other's favorite books and I think we both did well with taking the other's criticism. Twilight definitely has more issues than preteen me wanted to recognize, but thankfully I already recognized that beforehand. Anna and the French Kiss had less issues but was definitely very YA- high schooley, which made it sorta difficult for me to connect with the characters.
